I bought a nice Dk jr today. I got home unloaded it and it came right on with no issues every thing worked fine. About 20min later I moved it and the screen colapsed down to a 1/4 strip from top to bottom. This is what I found when I took the back door off the cab "Pic's are attached. The vertical size pot switch had been replaced with a aftermarket pot switch. The monitor board vert pot had broke off and someone replaced it with a loose switch. Then I noticed that 2 of the wires had came off the switch. The wire colors are Blue Grey and Purple. The blue wire is still conected to the switch. What wire goes to what prong on this switch? Reconnecting this pot will it fix my problem????

I had the same issue with my Mario sanyo 20ez.

A cap kit and tr402 and 403 I believe fixed the issue for me. Also I would replace the b+ pot and vr301 pot on the chasis, and get a pot replacement kit.

www.therealbobroberts.net is your friend :)

This is a very common issue and lots of people here can help... I am kind of a n00b but the monitor did get fixed with help from here :)

It might, it is the vertical size pot, and if that's busted, it's not going to have any size set which may cause it to look like your screen. You can start with the pot and I that doesn't fix it, do the transistors and the cap replacement.

Okay! Im trying that first. The game has been in a private collection since '86 and is only showing 3000 plays according to the coin counter. I know the caps could be dried out although im thinking postive here! LOL

yea i sent you a pm there are several fixes for that. plus other parts you need to get to make it rite.

Peace
