DK Jr. - Blue or Orange?

So I was planning on repainting my DK Jr. cabinet to orange. After chatting with another KLOVer, he suggested I maybe make it DK Blue since it seems to work well with the artwork.

I think most DK Jr. cabinets I've seen are orange (original color?). I don't think I've ever seen a blue one in person.

Opinions?

Honestly, I think it would be fine either way. It's like some guys who prefer DK in orange or red instead of blue. But so far...

Orange 1 - Blue 0

Just as DK3 looks better in a red cab, DK Jr. looks better in a blue cab. The only issue is if your a stickler for origionality, and personal preference.

That's what's tough. I have no real preference. Orange is "original" and doesn't look bad. Blue seems to look better cosmetically. Decisions, decisions...

I believe all Juniors from the factory were orange, any seen in another color were conversions. I am torn on which way to go when I repaint my Jr. I do like the orange, but it looks very good in blue also. The other problem is the DK I'm keeping is red so I think a red cab looks better next to a blue cab than orange. I know the purists say go orange, but if it's a keeper I say do whatchalike! That being said I'm leaning towards blue. - Barry

Mine is black, but I am painting it blue. Blue looks better for DK Jr in my opinion. I really think that Nintendo screwed up on the original cab colors. I'm still tempted to gut swap my factory blue Dk and my (currently) black Jr.

Don't gut swap DK Blue! If it comes in a Radar Scope cab, I say leave it. Otherwise, it shouldn't be anything but blue. But as guys have said already, it's personal preference.

Anyways...the matter at hand...DK Jr.

Orange is what DKJr. is "supposed" to be. I don't think I ever saw a DKJr. in anything other than orange on location ever.
