Finally got out to Cali for a vacation and to check out the DK the Bro-in-Law pulled out of the alley a few weeks after I left his place a year ago. After cleaning all the crap out of the cabinet and checking for other things decided it was time to power it up. In all honesty I was expecting absolutely nothing to happen. Instead, it actually powered up and PLAYS! Kinda. It clearly has issues as the two pictures show. The first picture is after it boots and is sitting at what I assume is the attract screen. The second picture is after coin up. BiL has no tools so all I have is the DVM I brought with me. Reseated all chips and no change that I could see.

It looks like I probably have both a board and a monitor problem. What do you guys think?

i can tell you the monitor needs a cap kit badly as it's folding over onto it's self.

as far as the rest of it goes i do not know.

Yah, cap kit would be the first thing I'd do if it were at my place.

Wouldn't mind getting this thing back home (it's in Burbank now), but I don't think it will fit in my carry on. The initial pics of it looked like it might be worth shipping, but the cabinet has some chunks out of it, the bezel is peeling, and missing t-molding, back door, and a button. It's very clean on the inside though.

Probably have to try selling it here or part it out and ship the parts home and find a cab there or buy one of DPTWiz's cabs. Might actually go that route since I want to get a couple other cabs from him anyway.
