Hey guys,

Anyone played on a DK, DK JR, Mario multi-cab? I never see them on these forums, but there is one at the Dave n busters in Rockville MD. The thing about this type it let's you continue when you die. The high score is 546,800 which I do not believe is on one credit(only because it allows you to continue), but I played tonight on one credit and scored 153,300 ( my personal best score). Anyway, the screen in this cab seems to be huge. I was wondering if anyone has seen these before and share a pic.

I just played one today at D&B. It was set to give you a bunch of extra lives at the start of the game.

D&B is hurting financially. The games have gotten more expensive and the gold cards no longer provide a 10% discount, plus the prizes require more tickets than before.

The score still resets on a continue doesnt it?

They should be hurting. They dont maximize their space and i have seen ratios of workers(servers) to customers 1:1 during downtimes.

I'm pretty sure the score doesn't reset on those. They don't reset on the Namco Ms Pac/Galaga reunion cabs either.

No, they don't reset when you continue. We have one at the theater here. I was going to continue until I got to the kill screen, but I didn't even finish my first credit. I walked away at 200k because Nintendo cabs are just painful for me to play standing up. They are just too short. That one is particularly hard, because you have to be pretty low to see the top portion of that humongous monitor.

I played one on Friday at the Tomorrow Land arcade in Disney World (outside of Space Mountain). I didn't really like it. The way the joysick and buttons are positioned hurt to play on (compared to a real DK). The screen proportions were not right (compared to a real DK). The joystick is not a 4-way. The sound wasn't right either.

I played on this one to back in August! We now are connected in a way, we played the same machine! :D

I've never played it but I kinda like the cab!
