My Donkey Kong Cocktail monitor has no burn, the color is good and everything is sharp. M<y problem is that the monitor is collapsing from the left. I adjusted all the knobs and can eliminate some of it by shifting the image to the right but it doesn't help the whole image and it makes things look odd when the cabinet's shut. Do I need to have the monitor recapped?

Pardon me for being new at this...

OK. Are all Cap kits the same or do I need to have a specific one for this monitor? How do I find out what monitor it is?

I just buy them this is the furthest I have dug into one.

It should have a Sanyo 20EZV, but you will need to verify before ordering your cap kit. Recommend Bob Roberts' Sanyo 20EZV deluxe kit and Sanyo 20EZV Audio kit.

Why an audio kit too? Is there a relationship between video and audio on the monitor? I always assumed they lived in different areas on the board.

the audio amp board is mounted on the monitor on the 20ez, and it's very worth it to do. usually clears up the sound a bit, and only takes a few extra minutes to cap anyways.

Once you take the ill-named "EZ" apart you'll see why these guys recommend doing all the caps at once. :)
