Who makes the best artwork? In the short term I won't be doing the side art, although eventually I need it so I am interested in best side art. But for now I need to replace the bezel instruction decal.

I need to replace the insert coin decal too, but I believe TOG does the best job of that, plus they have the 25 cent stickers as well.

BEFORE Rich started doing the DK artwork I purchased all my DK instruction cards, bezels, and CP's from Mikesarcade. The sidart comes from Quarterarcade.

Same here. My wife got me the side art from Quarterarcade. Very happy with it. Decals and instruction card came from an ebay seller. Got my DK Jr. CPO from Twistedquarter (ebay). Like Dokert said, fast shipping. DK Jr. side art from KLOV for sale thread. As long as you're not buying inkjet, you should be good wherever you buy given that the seller is credible.

I wouldn't buy the instruction cards from Mikes of Ebay as they are both wrong.
The last 2 lines are white instead of red and the colors are off.
I got lucky and found a NOS cpo with instruction card.
I also have a jpg of the original that can be used to print cards and will look better than the others.

As far as sideart, isn't all the DK sideart out there from what was once Arcade Renovations? I believe Darin at Phoenix Arcade made a run a long time ago. Actually, he has it listed on his website right now. It is cheaper then Mike's Arcade and QuarterArcade.

Of course to rub it in a little, this is off of my order receipt from Arcade Renovations back in March of 2004 when Philippe was selling off a lot of his inventory:

Products ordered:
SKU: DK-SA-SPECIAL
Product: Donkey Kong Side Art
Item price: $ 12.00

I think the DK Jr. sideart was $24.00. Now if I could just find a damn cab to put it on.... Yes, I have been looking for over 5 years.

Dang, those are some low prices. Man, 5 years and you still can't find a DK Jr? Not to "rub it in" but I found one within two months of being in the hobby. They seem to be readily available. At least in CA.

Am I hearing right that all the DK artwork is the same between mikes, arcadeshop, and twisted? I'm going to order from mikes and arcadeshop today anyway, so for the bezel instruction decal I'm sure a better price at twisted won't justify the shipping.

As for Rich, I don't see DK artwork on the site. Do I need to contact him directly for that or am I missing it somehow?

Thanks for the feedback!

I *just* got a bezel instruction sticker for a DK this week from Arcadeshop.

Not too happy with it ... it has differences from the original. Can post pictures later this weekend if anyone would like to see a comparison.

Can't speak for Mikes or QuarterArcades...

Just found out from Rich that he has some of the artwork (despite it not being on his site) because he didn't like the quality of what was out there. I'll be buying from him!

Thanks again guys!

I believe Phoenix Arcade still has Dk sideart and they are cheaper than Mikes Arcade. I do get the stickers from Mikes though. Their shipping is brutal though.

I ALWAYS buy my silk-screened art from Quarter Arcade. They always get it from the best sources.
