I can get both my DK3 and DKJR boards to synch up with my freshly capped Sharp Monitor, but not my newly acquired T/W DK board? Is this common? Do DK's prefer Sanyo's?
You may have to adjust the H-hold, while the boards run at a nominal 15.6khz there is a bit of variation in the absolute frequency and the amplitude of the sync signal resulting in a need to tweak the H-hold for some boards.

I tried H-hold, H-center, H & V center on the board itself, V Position and V hold. Best I can get is a torn double image that bows, bends and jiggles. then it starts to roll.
You may have a broken pot on the D.K. video board, the easiest wat to check is to put a short across each pot, it will offset the picture but will now sync if the pot is the problem.
