My CPO was pretty beat up, so I decided it wouldn't do! After reading a few things about "Two-shits" I decided I would buy nothing from that fool! Luckily I still had a bunch of artwork I downloaded from Localarcade a while ago, so after abit of color correction, this is the result! I printed it on the Roland digital printer at my work and laminated it with floor laminant, which is about 1mm thick and abit rough textured, so it looks pretty close to the original. Unfortunately, the button and joystick locations are slightly off...so most likely I will correct that and replace this sometime in the near future.
For now though, I'm pretty pleased!!! p.s. the glue was nasty as hell on the old cpo!!!

whats floor laminate and where do you get it?

I'm still looking for a good thick, textured vinyl to print to.. for cpos, etc

I'm so up to my eyeballs at work, I dare not take on any more side ventures! sorry :( Anyone with access to a large format printer and vinyl can do this up for you though.

Looks very nice. Only difference from original I immediately noticed was that your corners are squared while the original are rounded.

I bought a Ms. Pac mini CPO from two bits it was dead on. I saved the original to compare the two it was perfect.

Next time spray a coat of paint or two on the bare panel first before you add the artwork. You won't regret it.

Looks good otherwise.

That was my intention, until I realized the CPO wasn't perfect. Once I am ready to replace it with a better one, I will definately either spray or powder coat the panel.

I also have a mini and the only thing that is close to dead on is the size of the overlay.
