Somebody has some imagination and technical skills!
(and a high amount of available leisure time)

That is really sweet!

One could go ballistic and use nitro powered 1/10th scale beasts! ...though he may need to sturdy up the track for that.. lol

really cool!

That track would look alot cooler if they slapped paint on the cardboard and added some random electrical toys and whatnot for the ambience when driving.

That thing is cool! And it's low-tech enough to be very doable!

Low tech is the way to go and much more accessible to everyone. I *LOVE* the high scores written on tape and stuck on the left side of the monitor!

there's a place in AZ i believe, they already have this. Thiers is 1/4 scale Nascar cars on a large paved oval outside, with grandstands and all. The driving stations are inside for the drivers.

Kinda cool, the car handle like crap so I think that needs improvement. The rig seems a bit cumbersome too but hell if he's having fun thats great.

I think we're all missing the key point... that warehouse/loft space would make an EXCELLENT arcade!

For the record thats the first thing I thought of! :) But I also think this is cool and something I would do if I had the time and space (both of which I lack severely). Only change i would make is mod the car to be a bit wider and make the cam and batteries sit deeper in it to change the center of gravity and make it less susceptible to rolling.
