Alright got my 400in1 and the damn thing wont work with my konami cabinent. Picture rolls and is distorted tried Moo mesa pcb in cab and works so monitor is fine. Then I tried the 400in1 board in my sf2 cab and it works no problem. Maybe the konami psu is the issue or the harness mayb has a different pinout? not sure where to start.

What kind of monitor chassis? Some of the multi-game boards don't play well (in my experience). Sounds like a sync issue.

Not sure how do you check heres the number on the chassis 25k21953.

The knomai psu is different than most games its basically a pc power supply. I wonder if swapping it out would fix the problem. Im already going to add a new harness.

That is a Wells-Gardner 25". I am not all that familiar with that one.

I don't think the PS should be a problem. Not sure about the sync on that monitor.

Anyone?

Post a picture of it to be sure.

And you can try removing the vertical sync wire from the input connector to the monitor that won't work right, and see if that helps...

Have you tried adjusting the sync when you change games? Some games just have different syncs and you have to adjust the monitor when you switch to them.

I did but the image is garbled and rolls at random. Like I said though works just fine on my 19in. Ill take some pics try to figure this out. Do you suppose it could be the simpsons harness do these have a different pinout the most jama harnesses?

Finally had time to take some pictures. I read the number wrong the chassis is 25k2193

If you know the monitor chassis type, then it's easy to figure out which wire is vertical sync. Some monitors only have one sync signal, so there won't be a vertical.

And if you cut it and it doesn't work, then you'll have to repair it later if it doesn't work. better to just pop the pin out of the connector if you can.

Can you post a pic of the backside of the monitor (monitor chassis)? And how about a closeup of the connector. I may be able to help you from that...

Here are some more pictures.

Okay, this is either a U2000 or a U5000. On the left edge of the chassis towards the back, should be a sticker that says WGM2520 or WGM2550. 20 = U2000 and 50 = U5000.

If it is a U2000, then you can try popping off that three pin molex input on the connector on the right edge toward the front, and rotate it 90 degrees so that the wire in the middle spot is off its pin (the middle pin of the last three), but the other wire is still on its pin (the last pin of the last three). it might make it work and it might not.

If it is a U5000, then you might have the res-selector in the wrong spot. If it IS a U5000, let me know and I'll tell you what to check next...

Popped the pin rotated it and it had no effect plugged or unplugged the wire in the 3 pin housing is just looped through both slots. the sticker reads wg2520-U4BR25f. Not sure what the issue could be My Moo mesa board boots just fine. Any chance the pinout for 4player konami games would be different than a normal jamma harness becuase I can see the picture it is just heavily distorted and off kilter colors and all.

Im going to replace the jamma harness and try that but Im going to have to get different psu as its a pc style and doesnt have the hookups for 5v 12v ect. Any other suggestions the board works fine in my other two cabinents.

A full rewiring of the cabinent fixed the issue not sure why but f yeah!!!!! Bob roberts kit was very good and I am pleased with my first electrical wire job.
