I was Toys R Us last night buying a birthday gift for my 6 year old boy and I looked at the 3DS game which looks like shit and nothing like the game, and the toys are crap! What is Disney thinking??? They could be making a mint on this blockbuster movie!

lets be honest here, what licensed movie video game has actually been good? I've heard lion king and thats about it

It was not supposed to be a blockbuster movie else it would have been released in the summer or durring Christmas season. I think they were surprised by the reception! I think their marketing dept was also caught off guard... Not that it would have changed anything though, their toys are crap and it has only gotten worse the last 10 years... Everything coming out of China has a lifespan of at most 1 week in my house!

Look at how bad it is, and what is with all the save points?? Floppy 3.5 disks?! yah cause those mean a lot to kids playing the game. LOL ridiculous because 3.5 disks weren't used 30 years ago! WTF?!

Sure they were, and by '88 they were outselling the 5 1/4 disks.

I had 3.5 on my Amiga in 1987, but it certainly was far from common in 1982. Then it was single sided 160kb 5.25 discs in a Commodore 1541drive. Heck, in early82, it was still cassette tape in the c1530 c2n tape drive.

Funny thing is that the Lion King game was brutally difficult, way too hard for the target audience of the movie.

There have been some decent Star Wars games. The Jurassic Park arcade game was good. The recent Back to the Future PC game was excellent.
