Disco 19" with flagging - cap kit installed - need a diagnosis

Replaced Q002 and Q003 today, as I had some 2SC1815's on my bench. Since I do not have any 2SA1015's readily available, I'll need to wait until they arrive to replace Q001. If that doesn't cure the problem, I'm running out of ideas. It might just be the flyback after all :(

My 1015 arrived today, and I swapped it out. No change - my B+ is still too high, and adjusting the pot does not change it.

I've already tested the pot, and it ohms a range of 3000 from 0 to 2999 on my meter, so I believe it's good.

What else am I missing here? I believe I've changed everything in the power supply section?

Big thanks to ELutz for giving me a few more things to look at on my chassis.

We're back to examining the horizontal width coil - here's a few pics of the broken coil:

ELutz tells me that the discoloration and crusty junk on the coil is a sign that the coil heated up and melted the coating on the wire, causing a short. Being shorted MIGHT be the cause in my high voltage issues.

Does any of this make sense to anyone? If so, I will see if I can swap out the coil with another one that may fit. Unless some generous soul here has a junk Disco chassis with a good coil on it they'd like to donate to my cause? :D
