No.. theres 100+ volts on the cap. it will smoke a 12v bulb.

Were gonna need a bigger boat I mean bulb!

I discharged mine with my hand when pulling it out of my Centipede. Yep, the pop is very loud and I peed a bit too. The little fuse was blown. That's what I get for rushing.
