I have had no luck so far finding a manual for my style Cisco Heat cabinet. I had thought that possibly the sit down cabinet would have the same boards, but I guess I was wrong. The dip switch settings in the sit down manual are different. I also found a site that gave dip switch information, but it didn't say which cabinet style it was for. The configuration doesn't match mine. This is my machine:

If anyone has the manual or knows the dip switch configuration for the board in this cabinet, please let me know. Thanks!

manual

I have a manual that list dip switch settings and also list the board numbers also.
for example Dip switch 301(board no. ch-9073). Dip 302(board no. ch-9073)
dip sw303(board no ch-9073). if you have com link board ch-9074 and they are linked then dips on sw1's need to change as they supercede sw 302 dips.
Is this the same info you have? Ask a question and i will look at dips and answer.

Sorry man, I do a lot of travelling for work, and don't take my big laptop with me. My netbook isn't the best for surfing forums. My main board is a CH-9073A, the middle board does not have a designation, and the bottom board is a CH-9072. Let me know what you think. Thanks!

I am in the process of pulling all the boards to clean them up(dusty due to fan). The middle board is CH-9071, didn't see the designation until I had the top board off.

It kinda scares me that the wooden base says "Sample" on it. Serial number is D-1119 though, so I doubt it was one of the first.

I wanted to clean up the boards a little better anyway, so I figured I would snap the pics. There are 3 Dip switches on the CH-9073A board. SW301 and SW302 have 8 switches, SW303 has 4 switches. I did DL the manual for the sit down machine, but it seems that the dip switch positions are different for the stand up machine.

I want to be able to change the skill level for when the neices and nephews come by, as well as set it to free play. At the moment, it is set for quarters, and no idea what skill level.

Also, I do not have a CH-9074 board

Messing around, I found that if I switch all of the switches on SW301 to "on", I finally get free play. Just having 7 and 8 on didn't work for me. I have tried adjusting the skill level and continue ability, but it doesn't seem to work for me.

ok, there is a down side to having it set like this. You no longer get all of the graphics cycling through when the machine is in idle. It has the gray scale screen that says "99 credits", and the music plays continuously. So I guess I have to mess around with it a little more, to see if I can get free play, but still get the graphics, without all of the music.

I ended up installing a momentary switch on the back of the cabinet, and wiring it so that I can add credits at the touch of a button, outside the cabinet. I have tested it out, and it works great! Now I just need to figure out how to set skill level, as the settings in the online manual don't seem to work for me.

I found a service manual online, so I bought it, and it should be here within a week. I am interested in seeing if the dip switch settings are different between the stand up and sit down cabinets.
