Diode Question & Linearity Coil Question for Wells Gardner 19k7635

1st question, The chassis im working on is a WG 19K7635 medium resolution.. Im just recapping it and noticed the diode at what looks like D18 (probably D16) is completely missing. The legs are still soldered in place. Thinking that this isn't right I checked the parts breakdown in the manual and its shows whats suppose to be there at that position is a "Switching diode" but it doesn't give a value or part number.. What is the value I should put there and do these need to be put in polarity correct ? My eyes are seeing as position D18 but the part number break down doesn't mention a position D18 so I think its D16. Can someone verify that for me ?

2nd question, Same chassis as above, the linearity coil at position L2 has a part number on the coil itself as 9A2813-006. I cannot find a this coil anywhere. Is there a suitable replacement for it ? Or I see Chad at the arcadecup has something close to this with a part number of 009A2813-016 Linearity coil and specifically states its used for the P447 chassis. Can I use that one in its place ? Or is that a upgrade number ? Thanks for any help

I had emailed Chad the same question about the linearity coil and he got back to me a few days ago. He said he was confident that it would work and that "I would also try porting the extra top slug off your original to the replacement if you have a width issue. Might be a good idea anyhow.. make sure its facing the same direction when you take it off and move over.. don't flip it."

Thanks for that info. I will give it a try.

Just to reconfirm... It is the diode at position D18 that iam after. But I do not know what the value of that diode is... Anyone know ?

On the medium resolution K7635 D18 is not present (see the schematics) and it's normal that you just find the snipped legs.

Ahhh ok I see now... That really threw me for a loop.. The P447 cap schematic shows one in place but the regular routing schematic doesn't. I didn't know which to be true. I kept thinking the little micron elves sole it or perhaps it blew itself up right out of the chassis. And they left the freaking legs in.! Son of a bitch ! Thank you. Confucius say.. "When you come to the end of the story.. close the book".
