Good morning!

I am having an issue with my recently acquired Diner machine.

On bootup I get the following error:

"Error Check Switch 59 - Wheel

Malfunction - can not move wheel"

The wheel spins when the machine is turned on, so I know it moves fine. I don't know where this switch is.

Anyone with a Diner that has a manual that can assist in troubleshootig this?

Thank you!

Chris

I think you have a sensor glitch. Look at the wheel, and look for the sensor - I'm not in Omaha, so I can't look at the game I work on.

It will likely use a IR sensor. Clean the slot in the IR sensor, and try it again.

The sensor should be black in color (generally) and have around an 1/4 to 1/8" slot, that the edge of the wheel passes through.

Check the manual - it may have specific troubleshooting tips on that error.

oooooh, ok. That makes sense. I will check it out when I get home. Could just be a bad opto.

Thanks for the reply!
