DIG DUG DEAD? No boot and has vertical lines on monitor

OK here is what I have

I picked up a Dig Dug in really good shape, but had lines on the monitor.
I bought Bob's Big Blue Kit, ARII Kit and GO7 Kit. (I have installed all but the GO7 kit)

I had bought a Dig Dug Board just in case before I picked up the machine. I plugged the "Good" Board in and it semi worked one time, then I shut it off and now I am right back where I started with the non working board and vertical lines on the monitor.

(I have a good board on the way again, but I would like to get one of these two back up to keep on hand just in case)

Where should I start?

I did that and came up with 5.2 and 12.3 respectively.

I have been all over this forum, Google and a million other sites looking for the "cure" but haven't had any luck yet.
Any direction / guidance or help you can give would be great.

no it doesnt coin up- both player buttons are lit up
And the speaker has a constant loud noise constant no matter what.

For the ARII
I rebuilt the ARII with one of Bobs kits - everything seems OK - no smoke and all the right voltages. (Even though It seems OK, I assume ther eis the possibility I jacked something up???))
R29 was toasted at some point in time and has been replaced not by me) - it Ohms out almost the same as the one in Bobs kit, So I didn't replace it. I also Went over a couple of joints that looked Cold on the back.

For the PCB
I also added one of Bobs edge connector repair kits to the board, so that should be good.
Although a few of the connectors seemed a bit pushed back in the holder - I went in after them with a dental pick and pulled them back out ot make better contact with the edge connector.

Centi

If the lights are lit all the time it is probably a board issue or the 5v is not correct going to the board or it is getting lost on the board somewhere. Check the 5v on the rail that runs the perimeter of the board or at a 5v test point on the game PCB its self. If it is good there try researing everything. Still no luck, Board issue. Oh, r29 is always the weak link on those. Poor connection causes too much current flow. Might as well go ahead and replace it anyways since you have one.
