I picked up a Dig Dug that was completely dead. I noticed there were fuses missing. I replaced them all with exact values from the manual and powered it on for the first time - F2 blew. Did some Googling and after seeing several fuse issues with other Atari games I decided to replace the big cap and then tried again - blew again. Replaced the bridge rectifier and tried - blew again. Im still trying learning to read wiring diagrams so the bridge and cap is all I can see from the diagram. Any ideas?

Looks like the circuit that is fused with F2 provides 10.6VDC unregulated power to the coin counters and the lockout coils on the coin door. None of those would prevent the game from running.

You should check your voltage to make sure the 10.6 volts is within spec.

To troubleshoot the blown fuse issue, you could disconnect the coin counters and the lockout coils and see if the fuse still blows.

I disconnected the plug the feeds everything on the coin door and tried it again - it worked!!! Now I know where the issue is and can work to fix it. Thanks for the help!
