As the title suggests...

I have a TZ that I just burned v9.4h ROM and has L-1 sounds ROMs in it. On IPDB I see different L-x versions of game and sound ROMs. So what is the difference between the game ROMs?

I am chasing down some stuck instances in multiball and want to ensure that I have the most recent code running.

I just refers to different revisions of the ROM - the higher the number, the later the revision.

9.4h is the "home" version of the ROM; L-1 would be the first non-prototype/early/testing version typically, L-2, the next, and so forth.

Now - if you're looking for a list of *exactly* what changed between each revision, good luck - I can't say I've seen that documented for most pins...

Otherwise, just go with the latest version available to ensure you've got the best version. Generally (there are a few exceptions), the latest version of the code is considered the best to use.
