guy is asking 150$ for it wich as long as it has a good monitor i think is fair

$150 is a great price considering the 25" monitor is worth that alone. The game play itself is meh to me. I'd buy one to turn it into a MAME machine.

It sets on a steel diamond plate, 25" monitor, crazy coin mechs

cool thanks im wanting it for the monitor ill probaly sell off the stv board
anyone know if all the stv carts work on the die hard bard or is it only certian carts

thnaks again man so it looks like the only carts worth owning are raident silver gu and vitura fghter remixx and mabey batman forver

man there are some weird games that the stv motherboard is in wtf is up with the kiddie rides and the photo machines lol

I had two of these about six months ago - ended up parting them out after I couldnt give the game away....

The monitors are usually a WGM U2520, which if you ask Ken, is one of the worst Wells ever made. The good news is, the 25K7400 is a drop in chassis replacement (which is what I did for mine since the u2520 was dead.

I like these Sega Cabs. They're pretty cool. Only thing that sucks on them is that you need a key to open the CP. If you look underneath the CP on each back corner there is a lock. You need to unlock each to get a look inside. Be sure to ask for the keys otherwise you'll need to try and pick the lock or drill it out.

yea i have always wanted a candy cab and this is close enough for me esp for 150 $
since i have 2 jamma cabs here with bad monitors that i was going to use for my jamma boards and as a test rig

ill just mame or multi the 2 jamma cabs and jam out my boards on that machine ill still have to add some bttons tho

i just hope its oin good shape or at least the monitor

from the pics it does not look to bad

well it had a great monitor in it till i mucked it up im sooooo pissed at myself right now
while i was removing the cp so it would fit into my house i broke off the horz width coil arggggggggggggggggggggg
the remote board wires were wraped around th ecoil andwhen i unhooked it it droped into the cab and rioed hte coil righ tin half
now it just clicks and has no neck glow

oh well looks like im in te market for a 25 inch monitor still
at least i have a sweet looking cabi can use for a mam e rig

thanks for the link
i have a local arcade guy that im gong to try and trade the 3 25 inchers i have that need work for one that works
i coild probaly fix it but i just really dont want to mess with it i hate ordering stuff off the net

the cab itself is sweet tho its almost perfect the only thing wrong is a small crack next to the marquee

Wow, Funky Head Boxers has got to be the most half-assed 3d game I've ever seen. It looks like they just took stupid pictures of all the developers and then texture mapped the picture onto a cube and called it a game.

Nice score on the Die Hard Arcade, by the way. I might pick one of these up some day. Back when that game first came out I thought it was pretty hot shiznite. It came out just before the N64 and had those brand spanking new 3d graphics that were so sweet at the time (just like games like Virtua Cop and Time Crisis). For a 3d beat em up I thought the gameplay wasn't too bad (although it is fairly repetitive...but not to the degree of a lot of beat em ups).

whew what a nightmare lol
end the end it all worked out
i ended up trading off all my broken monitors for a good one(i really was runnig out of space anyway) , and now i have it back up and running

alll in all id say it was worth the 150$
great looking cab (always have wanted a candy cab and this is cose enough to one)
and its jamma so now i have a good jamma cab to play all my boards on
would have been much better without me breaking the hors width coil but meh it still didnt cost me any extra cash for the new monitor so oh well lesson learned (also installed my first iso from scratch since hte new monitor requirs a iso)

overal is in great shape also only one small crack up by the marquee that i shoud be able to take care of

here se is just got to rewire the marquee light find a place to mount the new iso fix the small crack and adjust the monitor colors a bit more (wAY TO MUCH GREEN RIGHT NOW )

I would call the guy and leave work early to pick that cab up. That's a great deal. These sega cabs usually have the cracks on the marquee. I think too many people grab them from the marquee when they try moving these with a hand truck.
