So, I collect JAMMA boards, but I don't play them on a JAMMA cab---I mostly use a supergun. I've always intended to buy a Jamma cabinet, but never got around to it. My favorite Jamma board is Neo-Geo---swap carts in and out all of the time.

Anyhoo...

I've always liked the plastic Die Hard Arcade cabinet. I was thinking that I might pick one up, add 4 buttons per player (so I can do 6 button fighters and Neo Geo in the proper way) and use it as my JAMMA workhorse.

Anybody ever done that with one of these? Is it easy to swap boards/carts or am I going to have to turn around the machine any time my Neo-Geo tastes change on a whim? Any other thoughts?

Thanks!

I've never done it, but I also agree with you. I think the cab is distinctive, yet still generic enough to house any JAMMA game and look cool.

I wish I never gotten rid if mine :(, u can use rustoleum spray in bed liner and it will come out as the same texture, looks brand new if you had a faded cab

The original power supply does not have -5vdc, so you may need to put a different switcher in there along with runnig the extra wires but other than that it is a great cab. Honestly, I waffle between selling my cab or converting it to something better...
