Run across something and ask yourself "Where the hell did that come from?".

I was looking though some of my parts, and I ran across a coin door and I can't for the life of me remember where I got it. It's one I need, and I probably picked up years ago...

Or I'll order something, it gets in, I go to put it away, and I find I already had what I needed....

Guess its all part of being a Packrat :D

That happens to me quite a bit. I have "duplicate piles" where the duplicates go now. :)

I am trying to be more sure about what I already have/don't have...

I have things I've bought over two years ago still in the box and unopened sitting around here. Sometimes, I'll look at the tag and try to figure who sent me something from Wherever, Ohio. Then I'll open the box and be like - "Cool! When did I buy a Track n Field PCB?"

Ummmmm ... it was Columbus Ohio and you was supposed to make sure it looked ok then send it back to me. No problem though just send it now and everything will be fine. :D
