I own a Wrestlefest in a typical Konami Cab conversion setup, which is the most common conversion cab for this game. I read in the manual that there is a dedicated cab setup, but i've never seen one. Does anyone here actually own one with pics?? I'd like to switch my Wrestlefest into a dedicated cab because my biggest irk is that the with the Konami cab you have to drastically cut the monitor bezel art (cuts into half the logo and wrestler pics).
Even the KLOV database shows a non-dedicated with the bezel art cut. http://www.arcade-museum.com/game_detail.php?game_id=10388

They came prebuilt in two differnt style cabinets, all were 4 player. One looked like a dedicated Mercs, the other looked like a Konami cabinet but is not. They also made a kit.

They definitely made a dedicated version. I bought one for my business in July 1991.
LTG :)

Yeah, that's a dedicated. The giveaway that it is not a Konami cabinet is that it only has one over/under coin door assembly.

Yeah you were right, it does look like a Konami cab, just a bit more beefy to fit the bezel. I'm surprised it only has 1 coin door for 4 players. I know it doesn't matter because the start buttons are dedicated to each player, but i'd think it would be more attractive to draw attention with 4 lit coin slots.

I'm almost positive I've seen one with full side-art, I thnk that would be the giveaway.
All of the side art Ive seen is about 2'x2.5'. I know this because I lost 2 W.F. NOS side art auctions in the last 8 months. If there was a full size set that would be awesome.

Yikes, that doesn't look so hot IMO.

That pic posted is the one i played back in the day when it first came out.

Yes with only 1 coin doors you could coin up your game and then someone else push start on theres and steal your credit so they could keep playing .

This is the cab i've allways been looking for... I have this board in my WWF Superstars in which is only 2 players but uses the same controls.

That's interesting to know there are two cabs used as factory dedicated. What seems odd to me is that Mercs style cabinet has 3 coin slots instead of 4 or even just 2. The flyer shows a similar cab with just 2 coin slots.

One good way to tell the difference between the Konami & Technos cabs, is look under the marquee at the speakers holes. Konami had 1, where as the dedicated Technos had 2.

These are not the best pics, but only ones I could find showing that area:

Interesting what you said about the speakers. Also the width CP looks a tad bigger too on the Technos cab.
