I've searched everywhere, high and low and I can only find 4" Wico powder blue ball top joysticks. I can't even find reference to Wico even making a 3.5" powder blue stick. I've emailed a few suppliers and no one recalls ever seeing one.

So, for the people who have a Multi Williams with 4" Wicos installed- how much does that extra 1/2 inch affect gameplay? Opinions?

I have a light blue Wico 8 way microswitch Joy that has never been installed in a game if you need it. Got it years ago as NOS and haven't yet utilized it.

It's really not a big deal, especially if you use it as the player 2/fire joystick. That's how it is on my machine, and the extra 1/2" of leverage makes diagonal shots a breeze. You could also use 1/2" plate or shim underneath the metal panel (so that the stick sits at the same height as a 3.5" stick) if it really bothers you that much.

I thought about that- I wonder if it would affect the movement at all?

An option is to turn down the long sticks on a lathe to get the height you want. Just cut off the excess and put in a groove for the C-clip.

I've been told by several that the regular blue Wico ball top is hard to come by. Never seen or heard of a 3.5" powder blue.

If you have a 4" already, I'd shim it down a half inch, shouldn't affect movement at all.

In mine, I have 4" red Wico sticks, and that is how I like it as it is a Robotron playing machine most of the time..

I have powder blues in my MW CP. It's from the recent run made this last year. It has threaded standoffs so you couldn't flush mount your sticks. I shimmed my with 1/2" plates.
