I was planning on ordering one, and everyone is out of stock.

Marco Specialties has even removed them from their list of Taxi parts.

I desperately need a new departure ramp.

Huh, All the vendors seem to be out :(

I would e-mail Pinball Inc to see if they are planning a re-run. Seems like there is a market for them.

Hope you can find one!

Chris

I bought one from Marco probably less than 2 months ago. If they stopped repro'ing them, its a very recent development!

I need a Taxi departure ramp too if anyone finds a source.

How do you email Pinball Inc? I've never been able to find an email address for them. Those dicks need to decide whether or not they're ever going to make the Shuttle toy and ramps...they were supposedly done with tooling back in OCTOBER and still do not have them available, and refuse to answer any questions via RGP... >=|

Guess that would be easy to miss since the only thing I've ever needed from them, they don't seem interested in producing currently.

Thanks.

I am sure calling them dicks will make them respod faster

I can understand your frustration, but I think there were licensing issues with the Space Shuttle parts from what I remember reading.

Who was the guy that was vaccum forming plastic a while back? I could send him my ramp for repro.

It's a ramp. A big ramp. Accoriding to everything I've seen from them on the subject, it was just a matter of tooling, they were supposedly doing some tests with their CNC, and then all info about it dropped off the face of the earth.

The best part is that Planetary doesn't even know what the status is. They're licencing out this stuff and then they don't even make the people they're licencing it to follow through on production or release the rights back out to other people. I would *kill* to see what their actual licencing contract is. When you go fill out their forms, they make it pretty clear that they want to see a production level part before granting rights, but then I guess Pinball Inc. has made enough parts to just ask for rights and get them sight unseen.

Yes, it's frustrating as all hell to know that after my playfield swap is done, I can get every last part I need to make it look like it was just out of the box, aside from a ramp assembly, pop bumper caps, and drop targets. :|
