Looking at my Ms Pac cab I'm about to restore and noticed that it came with a 4600. Is that right? It looks to be untouched.

Reason I ask is that I thought they came with a G07 from the factory.

They made Ms. Pac for a long time. They used whatever monitors were available at the time. 4600 was one of them, but there are others as well.

My Pac has a 4600 and my Ms. Pac has a G07 but I know they are not the original monitors because I installed both of them. The 4600 has Pac burn and the G07 has Ms. Pac burn so they probably came in those respective machines back in the day but we know how monitors get switched around when they are needed in a pinch.

both are mentioned in the manual also.

I have 2 Ms Pacs with 4600s

Just so we can lay this thread to rest, here's your answer: Early Pacman machines came with 4600's and were finished off with GO7's. Ms. pac came along and were sent out with any remaining 4600's that were laying around plus GO7's up to around the 25,000-30,000 serial number. After that midway switched over to the 4900

+1. Of the three I've had, two had 4600s, the other was a G07. All were original monitors that came installed from the factory.

Don't forget about the 4500.....which were left overs from Galaxian....and used in the very first Pac-Man's...
