Did I kill this tube?

So I was sliding moving one of my machines and accidentally bumped it into another one. It wasn't super hard, but probably a little harder than a love tap. The monitor went out and now I'm not getting any neck glow. I think this monitor was a little flaky anyways because I noticed if I had the control panel flipped down, when I close it back up the monitor would flicker/shake from the contact of the control panel and cabinet. Is it possible to kill a tube or neck just from a smack like that? Seems odd, but figured I'd check. All my connections are good, so nothing came loose. Monitor is a WG 4900.

Thanks.

Unless you heard the 'hiss of death' after the bump.... then you didn't let the magic 'out'.

Changes are you have a bad connection or a cracked solder joint somewhere on the monitor chassis.

Though you could have bad connections in the power fuse/wiring for the monitor as well.

You'll need to look everything over. To break the tube without actually banging the end of the tube requires some force.

Thanks guys. I figured it was very unlikely that it died just from the hit, but figured I'd check before I start going over the whole thing looking for the issue.

K4900's have two or three jumpers on the back edge of the board that bring power supply voltage (aka b+) to the horizontal drive section of the board. Those jumpers are known to have cold solder all the time.
