Did Cap Kit, Worked briefly, now FOCUS POT GLOWIN!

Re: Did Cap Kit, Worked briefly, now FOCUS POT GLOWIN!

How about a nice clean plug and play Wells 7000 19" monitor with new caps, flyback and a nice tube to boot shipped to your door for $100 You would be foolish not to take this offer!

Well here we are.. some closure.. although not "completely" closed yet!

Oh, I'm tempted to milk this one! But the truth is.. I took Chris up on his offer and bought a monitor! Anyone considering buying from Chris.. go for it.. Monitor was spotless.. all new parts, very nice.. No screen burn, and this picture doesn't do it justice..

My camera is acting up.. picture is sharp and colors are deep and true.

** A big thanks to ALL those here to contributed, particulary Mod

, encouraged, and even suggested quiting.. because that made me not want to!

I say not completely done.. because curiousity demands to find out what is wrong with that Matsushita..

And I learned so much more by doing hands on than ever just reading about repairs..

Now.. I don't have time to chat.. I got a game to play!

Sweeeeet !

keep on it... about a year from now when you finally rebuild the whole damn thing we will all get a laugh when its finally working... or you could just pour some gas on it and take a video of it. Post it on myspace for us all to see... lol

Just capped a Matsushita myself this weekend and I have a strange snych issue. You can get a pic, but it never truly settles down or synchs right. Did not change the flyback, just the caps. I know that the Matsu doesn't use the top synch pin like most monitors do, but even when we took the top synch pin out and swapped the 2 synch wires it still did nothing. The pot in the middle of the chassis has alot of effect on the picture synching, but it never quite gets there. Who has a manual for this monitor?

Phet, I just talked to Chris. That is why I am on this dreaded thread

Mine just gets a red screen which was decided bad tube. I know these chassis are not easy to come by, so I'll trade anyone for a WG Chassis(4600 i think, I would have to look).

Phet..

I got a manual of course.. it was a bit hard to find. Here it is... attached

Actually sent Chris some pics that might help?

It may have something to do w/ the game.. but the monitor I got from him did NOT have the same sync as the matsushita..

The TM had a purple and a white wire going to the bottom sync pin.. nothing in the middle.. and a black wire to the top pin..

I had to cut the purple wire to get the WG monitor to work in my JR pac.. Do you need pics?

BTW, I have 3 of these TM chassis now

** for the love of God.. do not change the fly!! I can attest to that... Very last resort!!! I have 2 or 3 OEM's and two brand new ones for these...

I'm in opposite boat than you 2. My prob is tube not chassis. From what I heard from Chris and others, Tube selection is next to none.

Mine has from bottom to top, [R, G, B, Ground, Snych, empty] I can see the game attract screen, but it is warped, torn and otherwise scrolling or all of the above, no matter what we do. I am encouraged that I can see a pic at all. We were running it through a frogger pcb/harness.

I'll 2x check mine, but i thought it the grnd and sncy were on the far end from the colors.

I 2x checked.. verify that it isn't 4 blank 5 gnd 6 sync

I'm trying to post the manual.. having a hard time w/ 40 k dial up...

trying here again...on my Jr pac.. on the board.. the sync wires and video wires came from one large plug..

Black sync wire was number 2 from the left.. white was the 4th pin.. and purple was the 6 pin.. and like I said.. purple and white went to the same bottom plug.. black went to the top plug..

**Hell I can't upload it at 40k (which is fast for me tonight).. but I got it from www.basementarcade.com

This Tm-202G Chassis was sent out and returned working. I know the chassis is good. If you don't want your tube for yours, send it to me then!

hmmm.. thats a thought.. cheaper if you sent your chassis to me tho!

I had thought I would get this fixed at some point.. of course that maybe of a challenge still

I'm just trying to get your working and in exchange get my WG working

If anyone gives up on there completely, shoot, send me the tube
