A friend of mine and I are arguing about how console makers are reducing costs by removing features and it caused me to wonder: did the Atari 2600 Jr come with paddles when it originally shipped?

Nope. Just the console and one joystick.

Nope, I am thinking you might have been able to get the Sears Telegames version with them though back in the day.
