Couldn't make it, but was wondering how the turnout was and what deals were to be had.

Also noticed on the calendar that they have another one a little more than a month out. Seems like pretty tight timing between auctions. Usually, they wait until November for the last one of the year...

I went as did a few buddies of mine North of here.

Not a grand amount of stuff although the place looked full. A noticeable lack of older 'classic' type games. There was a real pretty Crystal Castles- that was about the high point of my day.

You could have gotten a sit-down racer (or twin) for pretty cheap. Ms Pac prices were so-so (around 300) but the multicades went for 800 - 1000+.

I know people that boost up one auction location or another, but I think they're all hit-or-miss.

I bought a collector quality a Star trek voyager for 300.00
Also a Police 911 with new monitor for 450.00

Can't believe how cheap big stuff is at these auctions.
Guess no one wants to haul them home...

The next auction will be closer to Christmas and should bring better money

Hey Bubbleboy, just noticed you are in Charlotte. I am planning to go to the Winston Salem auction in October. I am planning to stay at my nephew's house in Charlotte and daytrip over to Winston Salem on auction day. We should meet up at the auction if you are going.
