Do you seal the back of the newly applied acrylic?
You don't have to seal the paintwork. The acrylics adhere really well so long as you cleaned the glass. But I do anyway mostly because it bothers me to know it's all messy looking under there. I mask off the entire clear glass area and use aerosol paint (Krylon or other) to give the piece a more professional look. White paint would give it a more "factory" look, but I use black because it helps ensure that the job is opaque to any backlight. Apply very light coats and let them dry before you apply another so that you don't eat into the screened inks.
For masking the glass near the graphics, I recommend that you get 1/8" or 3/16" wide vinyl masking tape from an auto body supply store. Made by 3M, it's blue in color and makes those radiused corners really well. It also leaves a sharper line than ordinary masking tape. Once you have that narrow border masked, mask off the rest with paper and standard masking tape. As an alternative, you could cut the radius into standard masking tape but it'll look a bit more ragged.
