Went to Pinfest on Saturday in Allentown, PA. this a different, smaller show than the one on May. I have to say that is NOT a bad thing at all. It seemed really "intimate", and was not overcrowded. I went early Saturday and did not need to wait to play anything. They had some great deals in the outside flea market too.

A friend of mine got a BOX (and a BIG box at that) of video boards. I mean, like 30 boards. Sure they may not work, but the parts alone were worth something, plus he got some marquees too!

This is not my video or photos, but here are links from someone else that was there (Mark Clayton):

I had a great time, and scored a nice World Cup soccer machine for my father in law

Nope. I have yet to go to the Allentown show. And I guess next year I'll have to make plans to attend. In the opening of the video, I see Funhouse, TZ, and TOM pins... 3 pins that were not at York. I really like to play FH, and wish there would've been one at York. Ugh........ Thanks for the depressing video! :p

I was there for a while...got a couple deals in the Flea Mkt area. Almost picked up an Ice Cold Beer for cheap but Todd @ TNT grabbed it first. Next time I'll remember to tap mac BEFORE going in.

Damn. When were you there? Was that the $45 ICB in the fles marlet area? It needed a main board, coin door, etc. It was kind of a hot mess IMO, but for $45, I'd expect that.

Was a good time and GREAT weather!

I am the "friend" that snagged the boards... Here's a list of what I got, most not known to be working:

*** Please note, these are currently NOT for sale until I sort through it all. Anything I decide to sell will be listed in the FS section at the appropriate time. :) ***

- Donkey Kong board (4 stack)
- Nixie Tube boardset from some old game (can't wait to build something from the nixies!!!)
- Nintendo Vs. Duck Hunt board
- Nintendo Vs. Hogans Alley board
- 2 Pole Position 2-Board Sets (some acid damage), I already started stealing chips from one of these boards.
- Cinematronics Strike Zone board
- Bootleg Ms. Pac-Man board (Working)
- Two Atari ARII Power Boards (Working)
- Gottlieb Mad Planets complete boardset (Missing chips)
- Missile Command Board (known not-working)
- Sega Turbo (both boards)
- Midway Blue Print 2-Board Set
- Mr. Do board
- Moon Alien boardset (can't WAIT to test this one!!)
- Midway Power Supply Boards
- Nintendo RF Shield/Interconnect boards
- Random Interconnects/Interconnect boards/Power Supplies (including some interconnect labeled "For Star Wars Only")

I am VERY pleased with this haul. Can't wait to play around with all of it...

"Pics or it didn't happen", even though I have witnesses (there are more outside of the frame of this picture):

I still think that Star Wars board is NOT a Nintendo board, but I digress. Or did Nintendo make a Star Wars machine I am unaware of? Look at the connectors again, I don't think they are the same ;)

I went. Was my 2nd Pinball show after going to the White Rose show last month. I thought it was pretty decent. Lot of cool games and everyone was friendly.

I scored:

Set of Plastics for Whirlwind (Complete set)
LED Kit
Rubber Shoes for Leg Levelers.

I almost bought that Ice Cold beer also. But I think it was more than 45$ wasn't it? I would have grabbed it for that.

We may be talking about a different machine. The one I saw was int eh flea market area, was missing the main board and coin door, had a flaked backglass. That was $45 OBO, but was more work that I was willing to try (and I'd REALLY like an Ice Cold Beer machine). If there was another, it was not there when I was.

I looked at all the LED's and while I can understand why people like them, I am not a fan :( Too much strobe effect for me. Bu this is not a thread about LED's so I digress :)

I really enjoy shows and this smaller, more intimate feel was a definate plus!

... and i have some midway stuff that i pulled out of a cab that was converted to a Sac-Man Hat Trick

dunno if it works as i think it may be a bad power supply.. if you want/need it, i will let it go for cheap.
