First, we would like to thank all the PAX East organizers for having us at their show again this year. It was a great time and we had a blast sharing 45 classic coin-ops with the show attendees.

Now to my main question; did any KLOV members go to the show? I spent a lot of time meeting and greeting at our door and no one said, "Hey, I am so and so on the KLOV forums." Maybe no one knew me due to my ultra secret and creative KLOV user name ;)

I'm really wondering how much crossover traffic there is in the gaming hobby as a whole. Do KLOVers go to PAX, do PAXers go to CAX and so on. The attendance rumors being thrown around at PAX East this year were 90,000 tickets sold. The local Boston TV stations were posting traffic alerts on the morning news due to the number of people attending the show. For those of you who may not know what PAX East is: http://east.paxsite.com/

Thanks,
Gary

A coworker of mine went. He's owned an upright in the past, but isn't on klov.

i don't live on the east coast so i didn't go to PAX East, and the original PAX has always fallen on Labor Day weekend (an issue for me since i work that weekend every year for a different event.) but this year PAX Prime has moved dates so i'll be able to attend. AFAIK, there are no plans to bring arcade games to Prime this year.

i have yet to attend CAX (maybe someday,) but i'm involved with the NWPGR ("Seattle") show as are many of the local collectors. all the work that goes into that event may be one reason nobody seems all that interested in providing games for Prime.

I thought I heard rumor that our own Keith Apicary was there, and was ejected out of his own Q&A panel. ahahahaha! Classic.
