Did a caps kit,got no neck glow

Probably...

Yeah I figured you would agree, theres just nothing else I can do. Sucks to have to put more money into the chassis than I did buying the game, and it worked. Thanks for trying to help me with it Mod,and big thanks to everyone else that chimed in on it I really appreciate it.

Instead of dropping $100 on repair work -- you want to buy one of my spare K7000 chassis for $50?

Yeah actually I would if its the version I need. I posted a wanted ad for one but no response. I think it's medium resolution, how can I tell. I posted a pic earlier of the monitor mine is working on will yours run on that?

Ahh...crap. Your M48AAW00X tube is a CR23, which means the neck has 10 pins. My K7000 board has an 8 pin neck board. Unless you're willing to send your chassis to me to swap neckboards, my rig wont work for you :(

Well to avoid the risk of damaging the chassis after all of the time and money I put into it already, and to keep the shipping cost low I can just send you my neckboard. Has your chassis had any kind of rebuilding/cap work?

Just to confirm this is what I have,10 pin board,8 pin neck

You will not be able to swap neckboards on this. The medium-res and standard-res chassis are not interchangeable, and the neckboard will not swap between them, as the med-res version uses a wire that is soldered to one of the socket pins that is pulled out of the board, which is different from the way the 10-pin standard-res neckboards work...

It figures it would'nt be that simple. If anyone has what I need for sale let me know. I don't want to wait a month for a repair to be finished and the game has been down almost a month already.

I have fixed these in the past, but I have decided to no longer do med-res repairs until I have a med-res tube/yoke combo for any med-res chassis I may repair. Tired of having to run to a friend's every time I want to test it...
