Jrpac is way more mature than this guy and he is only 13!!

I've had him repair boards for me a few times. Fast turn around, very fair, if not outright cheap, prices. Packed well. Items fully working with no problems. I would use him again without hesitation.
I can't believe this thread is 9 pages long and we haven't seen the Michael Jackson eating popcorn picture yet... 
FWIW, when I lived in the Seattle area years ago I took a couple of boards to Dick and he fixed them quickly, cheaply, and they worked 100%. I don't own a Pole Position, but I have heard that it is an extremely finicky board and prone to a variety of issues. Unfortunately, you may be dealing with an issue somewhere in the cabinet, coupled with a board that is randomly having issues when it is in your cabinet that it isn't having when on Dick's test bench. I see this on modern computers all the time, so it isn't surprising to most of us that a 30+ yr old board is experiencing the same thing.

Man, your going against some pretty heavy hitters in the arcade community. I hope you enjoy working on your stuff with no help or advice because you may have cut ties with some very important people. Do you have anything bad to say about Bob Roberts?
OP came in asking about Dick fully expecting everyone to get on the "Dick's a dick" bandwagon. EVERYONE knows that misery loves company and this guy was looking for validation of his opinion.
When he didn't get it (every single person BESIDES him in this thread (including me BTW) has had nothing but GOOD things to say about Dick), instead of taking the mature "high" road and going "Well damn, that isn't the case with me. I sure wish it was." and then moving on to a different topic, the guy doubles down on the "Dick's a dick" mantra which did NOTHING for his reputation here.
The guy's holding a pair of deuces ... at best ... and he's now gone all in.

Bottom line broham ... 99.999% of the users here have NOT had the same experience with Dick you have. You will NOT be convincing the 99.999% of us here otherwise. Obviously Dick had an issue with you... likely due to the way you conduct yourself, but I won' put words in to the man's mouth.
Where do you go from here? I don't know. Sounds to me like you've burned enough bridges already that you're was many of my friends like to refer as... "ass out"...
One thing is very clear here. You are NOT doing yourself any favors by continuing on this path. You'll end up with NO ONE willing to work with you. Bravo!
