so after watching some videos on 2 and 3. I think im gonna wait. not sure how long the wait will be.

3 will be awesome, but the wait for 3 will be a long one. Diablo 2 can be had pretty cheap these days, the gameplay is still super slick, there's no reason not to get it.

And did you check out Titan Quest?
