I wonder if the paint on that marquee could be removed without damaging the art underneath.

The marquee is a translite with a piece of acrylic over it. They probably just painted the front or back of the acrylic piece. But as to whether they left the translite in or not who knows.

I can test it if you can be patient, but thought it was JAMMA besides the joystick? It was more common as a conversion kit.
