"Destroyed" games you brought back from the dead

What games did you get that were in AWFUL shape and would be considered trash by most people, but you managed to restore them anyway? Show us your before and after pics!

It's been done multiple times before but this is always a fun topic and there are new accomplishments worthy of being shown off occurring all the time, not to mention it's extremely inspirational to everyone trying to restore cabs.

Had to bring one of my favorites back to life. It was a bitch though!

Before: and probably at its worst. Had to remove the bottom 2 inches

And Now in my gameroom! Missing stencils yet though :(

Simpsons. Had to cut off the bottom 12" and do a crap ton of work on it.

Vindicators, have to use a number of pre-shots as from a distance it didn't look too bad.

Here is mine, my Donkey Kong. It was left outside for a very long time as well as being vandalized, I almost gave up on it a few times.

How it started, and How it sits today.

Awesome thread, subscribed. I haven't restored anything that was super destroyed yet, but I have one in the works, I'll come back and post it here this time next year when I finish itl.

Probably going to get shit from a few zelotic purists here, but I saved a DK from a horrible place called "Saskatoon". It was covered in a hideous branded vinyl wrap from a sub par beer company. Not water damage, but covered in shame. Had a number of cosmetic issues and I'm in the final stages of modernizing it with an ArcadeSD to be a deticated multi-kong.

And the BYOAC restoration thread:

...yeah, a bit more of a conversion then a restore, but I'm being quite picky about making sure it's done to a high standard. ... Well, most of the time.

Berzerk

Here's an old converted Berzerk cabinet I restored from a sega baseball. I put a spin on the restore and made it a Berzerk Splatterhouse multi. Everything is original to Berzerk except the marquee which I have the Berzerk marquee lit up on the wall behind it.

Here's before.

nice I love to see this kind of stuff.

mine pale in comparison to some of the restore from destructions others have posted.
but I think these 2 were my worst

1) missile command with back pretty much gone, and side was removed and re-attached offset by like 1/2" forward and a little bit horizontally

2) aero fighters restored to an ikari, aero fighters was physically very solid, but just ugly externally.

I have brought a few back but my favorite was the heavily water damaged low play Baby Pac. I made a resto post about it. I ended up building a new cab and saving anything I could. I even clear coated the playfield.
