So, I've cleaned the outside of this thing. It took many (MANY) passes with some simple green to stop seeing cigarette smoke coming off on the paper towels - yuck!

Anyhow, it's musty on the inside from cigarette smoke, too, and the cabinet has a fan which blows air outward. So, it's making my kitchen smell musty, too.

Is there something I can put in the cabinet to deodorize which will positiviely NOT compromise any of the electronics inside, including the monitor? Thanks for any tips!

I had a Pac Man that stunk REALLY bad. I gutted it, cleaned it and brush-painted the inside with two coats of semi-gloss black. Smell gone.

mmmmmm i love the musty smells! My family thinks im strange. before i got into arcades i would stick my head in my brother in laws pinball and just "take in" the must.

...anyway, wipe the inside with bleach maybe?

Another thing to consider and I have dealt with this on pinballs is, any wires that heat up, if they too are covered with nicotine, they will re-stink each time they are heated. So you have to clean the entire wire harness too. Not sure how your machine is set up, but just passing it on.

The cleaners I have used to remove tar and nicotine are Mean Green and Wesleys Bleach White, the automotive cleaner. You spray either on and watch the brown naste roll off instantly!

You could also try spraying Fabreeze in the cabinet.
