Are the boards in a 2 player upright the same as the 4 player CT version? Different ROM's maybe? Or is it a totally different beast all together from the upright PCB wise?

I have a upright I believe they are totally different. But don't take my word only. If you need any parts let me know I have a spare cabinet that I have gutted to restore mine.

I have seen that most uprights use the Mono PCB.
Some uprights use the MCR 3 board stack
ALL of the cocktails use the MCR 3 board stack.

That's what I was afraid of I have an opportunity to get the floor/CT version no PCB. So if its going to be totally impossible to get the PCB for it doesn't look like its going to be worth it.

This thread makes me miss my UR. What a beaut of a machine that was...

The boards are VERY tough to find...I can tell you first hand...I've been looking for a LONG time!

You got a 4 player game or an upright? Damn yeah that's what I thought Last thing I need is a 300lb paper weight sitting around already have 8 of those as I speak.:D

Well If anyone can help me to locate a board set that would take the decision making to purchase this 4 player beast immediately let me know.

So your looking for a backup set then? This is a really hard decision to make I could get totally burned and not be able to find the board set. Plus it also doesn't have the wire harness but I have rebuilt so many games from scratch now that really isn't a challenge anymore.
