Does anyone know which of the two short white buttons Bob Roberts has (snow white and pure white) is the correct style for Defender and Stargate?

The pure white are here:

and the snow white are here:

And are the snow white the e-clip types? I can't tell from the pictures.

Judging by the prices Bob has for his Defender and Stargate sets, he must use the snow whites. See:

Thanks for any help. I'm just being a perfectionist here.

To answer your questions, in no particular order:
1) It doesn't matter. White buttons will turn yellow soon enough.
2) EClip buttons have a metal EClip holding the plunger in. The Snow White buttons are the later version that just have a plastic ring holding the plunger in the housing.
3) If you want to be really an*l retentive about it the white buttons with the EClips would be more "original" as those were the style originally used by Williams.

Thanks, Ken. Yes, I do want to be an*l about it, so pure white it is. (They're also cheaper.) And we don't get enough sun down here to turn them yellow any time soon.

Some of the flyers for Defender show only white and red buttons and no green one (A colour scheme I quite like). Does anyone know if the games actually went out like this or whether that colour scheme only ever existed on the flyers?

I've just order white. As long as he gives me all the same white. The look fine to me on all the Stargates I've put them on.

i believe Defender generally shipped with a green smart bomb button despite the promo and flier pictures showing either no green button or a green hyperspace instead.
