Have a defender with a dead go7

Have another rca monitor. Not sure of the correct pin out connection.

The rca has big event golf in it and works great.

Have the wires from defender board going to rca color to color except not sure where to connect the last 2 purple wires. It is currently showing red sprites on the monitor. Thanks

need to now the model chassis to help you. rca doesnt tell us much. or take a picture of the chassis you want to use.

Your two remaining wires are most likely sync. Defender uses positive sync, not negative like most games, so not all monitors will work. Many newer monitors only have negative sync input. You have to ensure that you connect your sync signals to the positive sync input on a compatible monitor.

We need more information on the monitor you're trying to use. RCA never made monitors - they only made the picture tubes. Just like Firestone never made cars. You'll need to tell us what kind of monitor it is. If you don't know, post a picture, we can usually tell.

Generally speaking though, you're almost always better off fixing the G07. Those are great monitors.

Can't find a chassis number. It has a plug in style circuit board that goes on the chassis
On the tube it has a label showing thr pin out
The number on label says 69xo984-100

Does it have two plug in boards, next to each other? If so, then it's a WG 4600.

The 4600 will work fine with Defender. Just be sure to use the positive sync inputs. You might have also gotten the H and V sync backwards.
