Hi, I have a Defender that is saying Ram failure 22. In the X/Y grid which chip is it? second row second chip?? Thanks!!

4164's are not non-volatile. They are 64kbit DRAM chips that when plugged into a William's MPU board you use 16kbits of them and the other 48kbits lie dormant. They will burn out just like 4116's under the right circumstances. They just run cooler because they are only 25% active.

Yeah but isnt the real reason they run cooler is that they are only using 5v and not three voltages?
If you want to upgrade to 4164 I have PLENTY of them in stock. I think I even have a couple of the harness adapters ready to go also.
That being said, I also have 4116 if you wanted to stay original.
