OK, i don't want to do it but I need the cash .......... Selling my Defender, works 100% and is completely original with NO repo parts, could do with a CP overlay. Internals are great, no corrosion on battery back up, Sharp picture, no screen burn – cab has usual wear - whats a fair price to ask ?

Thanks for the reply, that was about my guess (I listed is yesterday on CL for $650 OBO, if any KLOV'ers are interested, I will cut them a deal ! (500 Cash !) - I'm in Plano (10 miles north of dallas, TX)

$300-$500 max. Depends on the condition. Yours is beat up looking around the base.

Not sure what crack the $650-$700 people are smoking. Seeing something listed at that price and what it sells for are completely different.

I don't mean to disappoint you, but I just paid $225 for a cocktail version, which, admittedly, was a good price (free is always better of course... but I'm not that lucky...) It needs one ROM and a little laminate work but it otherwise complete. An upright should be worth somewhat more, and working condition should add something too.

By the way, talking about 'free', I run a "Home For Wayward Orphaned Arcade Machines" in So. CA. If you have a machine that, for some crazy reason, you want to give away, but want to be sure is restored and not parted out (and it is restorable), I have a new 1400 sq ft basement that has room for more machines, and I have the skills and interest to do the restoration. (Just sayin....)

I would say $350 - $500 depending on the buyer. You know you can bring it to the Houston Expo and sell it there!!!!!

$350 - $500 sounds about right, with the $500 price in absolute pristine condition. Today's market just isn't getting $600 anymore for your average condition machine.

That's about a $300 machine - it's showing its age all over. Looks like it would be an easy restoration to get it up to $500, however then it's a tougher sell even in excellent condition.

Good luck with the sale!

Check my "Money - The Great Motivator" thread. I just sold a fully-working cocktail for $400....

Someone just sold a restored one with weird t molding on ebay for $750.

If that was my game I'd be happy with $350.

I will give you 500.00 if you can pallet it and drop at a terminal for me

Well, I got $550 for it so I'm pretty happy - the guy came over, played just 1 ship and bought it, he seemed pretty happy with his new toy !

Sad to see it go :-(
