Hey all!
I got a strange one...I recently installed a Bob Roberts switching power supply on a Defender. I know that sometimes this results in a grounding issue in that the control panel stops working unless you ground it directly to the new power supply.
I did ground the supply directly to the coin door. The control panel, coin-up, and everything else works EXCEPT for the 3 test switches that control the onscreen game settings. They work fine when the original PS is reconnected, but stop working when I hook up the new switcher.
Any ideas? Do I need to hook another ground wire directly to these switches, too?
Thanks for any insight.
