I would love to find one of these rare machines. Does anyone here own a Defender Pinball?

I have both defender and joust. Local arcade had them. So after black knight, it was the next must have pin..

Sometimes I consider selling them. After blackout, they would be the next pins to go.

I bought mine from an operator at a pinball show. He could`nt sell it at his asking price. Later in the day he saw me playing it & asked me to buy it. He lowered his price without me asking & then threw in a N.O.S. backglass for it so i had to buy it...

From what I have been told defender falls into the category like baby pac and granny in the gators. Pinball people don't like it due to the video game elements... Smartbomb in a pinball...

Don't know if I beleive that arguement. How many modern pins have video modes?

I think they look awesome. I would love to have one, but with production under 400 might be tough. How is the gameplay?

That's funny, I remember playing when it came out but don't remember much about the game. I remember the smart bomb though. lol! Yeah, I think we thought it was kind of lame.

You can sell me that Joust pin when you're done with it. :D

Game play is`nt the greatest esp due to the drop targets popping up in the middle of the playfield. Sounds are cool!!! IPDB states only 369 were made but i`ve seen a couple for sale in the past. Hell, i just found a Williams Algar & they made 20 less than Defender.

Trade me a monster bash or a medieval madness and you can have both...
