Happy Easter,

Working on a Defender restore. Cab looks to have been converted multiple times during is life.

None of the internals are present so I am working on everything from scratch.

Can someone tell me if there was a wooden base plate that was attached to the monitor and then affixed to the cabinets monitor mount shelf? AND (because I believe there was a plate) what the dimensions of it measure.

Pics would be most appreciated....if possible. The only thing I dug up via Google was the attached pic.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Matt

EDIT...sorry mods, thought I was in the restoration forum not "General." Please move if you see fit.

I just picked up a Stargate. I can try to grab a picture when I get home.

Thanks for the replies... I had a Moon Patrol that had the plate...sounds like that was similar to Robotron.

I would still welcome a few pics of the interior of a Defender cab if anyone who has one cares to snap a few.

As always, any help is most appreciated.

Matt

The cabs with the mirrors on top had the wooden plates so the monitor could be slid back to adjust the screen in the mirror. Pretty sure there wasn't a mirror in Defender so no additional wooden plate.

Hey Matt,

I'm in the middle of redoing mine too. It had been converted to Cinematronics Baseball but it's all bare now. It had what I believe was the original g07 in it with no plate, just the existing shelf that the monitor frame sat on.

I'll get some pics uploaded in a little while for whatever help they may bring. Let me know if you want any specifics apart from the monitor shelf area.

----edit---

Hope these help.
