Hey guys,
I was wondering if anyone had any pics of the inside of a working original Williams Defender? I did a search and could find nothing I could use.
I need a pic of the back, open with the power supply, boards, wiring and monitor so I can see the connections and what it look slike.

ANY help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, ERIC

AH! You guys are awesome!
I appreciate the help.
So nothing actually gets plugged into that outlet at the bottom of the cab, huh?

If anyone wouldn't mind taking a closer pic of the power supply set up at the bottom of teh cab that's the last piece I need.

Again, I really appreciate the help.

ERIC

the attached picture is from when i had it out of the cab to clean it up. will that do or do you need a pic of it "on location"?

That's great. I appreciate it.
A pic of it connected in the back of the cab would be great but I don't want to hassle you?

if it's not too much trouble that would rock.
Also, is the plug at the bopttom used of ranything? It doesn't seem like it is but It's tought to tell. the other pic showed a switcher that was installed so I don't know if that changed how things were set up power wise.

thanks again, ERIC

The outlet in the bottom is a "service outlet".... like for a technician to plug a light into in order to see what they are doing. It's always on, whether the machine is or not.

So it's a regular outlet with regular voltage not like the Nintendo ones?

Thanks, I appreciate it.

If you have a copy of the Defender drawing set, look on page 12 (Power Wiring Diagram). This will explain the wiring and give you the color codes of the wires and were they are going.

What you are looking for are the Violet - Yellow wires coming from plug 6P1. This is the plug that fits to the socket circled in red in the picture below:
