Defender & Donkey Kong just finished--TNT Amusements

We just finished these for a customer...they look great---new overlays, new power supplies, rebuilt monitors, etc....the man buying them also ordered a Joust Robotron and Star Wars we are still working on!
Thought you would like to see the quality of our work! Todd from TNT Amusements

It's hard to make 100% sure but it appears you have short shafted that DK.
And at least you could've talked the buyer into a D2K HS kit and removed that aweful "freeplay" button ;)

I actually think that freeplay button is a good idea. It looks like it is located where the lock would normally be so there was no real hacking done to the cab itself.

That's right...the buyer has the option of making it coin op again...as I just slid the wires off the microswitch (slide on terminals) and onto the game button. No new holes (if there were holes, we fill them with bondo and repaint). I have all of my games in my home that do not have a free play setting with the free play buttons in the lock hole!

Holy shit, that side art is almost on the floor. Wait, I've seen a machine like this before:

I understand now. Good call.

They look good, personally I like the Stainless coin door on the defender nothing compares to the old "dollar" Coin slot.

As for the credit button I follow Bob Roberts documented method. One wire from the coin switch to the 2-player button. Press once 1-credit, Press twice 2-credits, Press 3 times start 2 player game and 1 credit. I have yet to see a cabinet I couldn't apply this too and I have 1 less button and no hack.

Not to bust anyones balls - the cabinet looks decent - but yes the artwork is misplaced and the joystick appears to be a short shaft (VS or playchoice) style.
The free play button is not bad at all - I was thinking you could've made more money if you would've told the guy he had the option and could have D2K in the same cabinet. You could also tell him the SW you are selling him could have an ESB kit as well. Geez if you're going to sell the games pimpem out and make some extra money!

My Jungle King was wired up this way when I got it. I thought it was pretty slick given that there's no free play option on the board. I'm glad the original hacker was clever enough to add that without modifying the cabinet in any way.

Todd does your customer want to adopt me? 5 cabinets at retail prices, he has got to be loaded.
