I just received my Defender CPO from arcadeshop and it is a bit different that what I expected. In case anyone was curious here are some pics of a disassembled button punch-out. The CPO is made with a 2mm piece of sintra with a very thin piece of Lexan laminated to it. It appears the Lexan has the artwork on it. The backside shown in the second picture still has the peel-off sticker label attached of course.

Does anyone have any close-up pictures of an original Defender CP? From what I recall the artwork was a sticker placed onto the wood and it had a piece of thick (maybe 1/8"?) lexan (or similar) on top of it.

I have that repro on my game. Yeah, I know the original pieces seemed like hard plastic, while the repros have a softness to them. They look fine installed, and I don't expect all repros to be exact in materials as much as artwork. Would I buy it again and strip mine off if someone made a perfect repro? Probably not, but I might buy one to put back or install on a fresh cut wood panel.
